  First experience with Gawler Hospital, crap! I found out from a acquaintance that my grandmother with dementia was in palliative care. Most people's first thoughts would be to contact their family, I cannot do that because of legal and personal reasons. Instead I called the reception and told her the situation she then transferred me over to one of the rudest and inconsiderate palliative care receptionist anyone could have met. I asked her if she could tell me more about the situation on my grandmother. She told me that she couldn't give me any information about her, I understand this may have been to do with privacy reasons. She then told me to contact my family, I told her the situation about the legal reasons behind it and that I couldn't talk to family members. She then had the audacity to tell me that it was my fault and I had do deal with it. I am seventeen and supporting myself, I live a good 45 minute drive away from my grandmother with no way to get there, I seriously do not need nasty people telling me those sort of things when my grandmother is dying. Thanks for your appalling and inconsiderate actions.

  Barossa and Light Cab Service highly recommend Gawler Health Service. There are so much facilities here, for regional and country patients. The Gawler hospital is 5 star rated in the eyes of Barossa and Light Cab Service. There is also an emergency afterhours department here. The staff, nurses and Doctors are all very professional and friendly. The hospital is located off Lyndoch rd, making it very accessable. There is also plenty of car parking available. Well done Gawler Health Service, from Barossa's only 100% locally owned and operated cab/taxi provider, Barossa and Light Cab Service.

  I went in for a shoulder operation at the hospital, before i went in i spoke to the anesthetist about how terrible i feel after coming out of surgery, she is amazing what ever she did worked, i felt great after, no feeling groogy ans sick, my anesthetist was Anna , thank you Anna, also my stay there was great, all the nursing staff were wonderful, thank you as well
